Indication
Tramadolis used to treat moderate to severe pain. It may also be used in other purposes as determined by your doctor.
The Medication intake
Take exact doze of Tramadolas you doctor prescribed. Take a full glass of water after each dose of Tramadol. Do not take more dose than prescribed by your doctor. Tramadolcan cause its dependence. Do not take Tramadolmore doze and longer than prescribed because it ca cause physical and psychological dependence. Tramadolcan cause withdrawal effect if it is stopped suddenly, that is why you doctor can prescribe you a gradual reduction in dose.
Side Effects
- dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, headache, or sweating.
- skin rash, itching, seizures, or hallucinations.
If you experience above mentioned or other effects, immediately contact your doctor.
Precautions
Do not exceed the recommended dose or take this medicine for longer than prescribed. Seizures have been reported as a rare side effect of treatment with Tramadol. Talk to your doctor about factors that may increase the risk of seizures during treatment.
If you experience difficulty breathing or tightness of chest; swelling of eyelids, face, or lips; or develop a rash or hives, tell your doctor immediately.
Avoid alcohol while you are using this medicine. This medicine will add to the effects of alcohol and other antidepressants.
Do not buy Tramadol and use Tramadol purchased at shady pharmacies!
Tramadolmay cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. If you experience dizziness or drowsiness, avoid these activities.
For women: if you plan on becoming pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. Do not breast-feed while taking this medicine. This medicine is excreted in breast milk.
Drug Interactions
Before you begin taking any new medicine, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Seizures have been reported as a rare side effect of treatment with Tramadol. The risk of seizures may be increased in patients who have certain conditions or are taking medications such as: tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, or certain psychiatric medications. Do not take Tramadol without first talking to your doctor.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Storage
Store this medicine at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
